Growing up in the 60's and 70's in London, art was on the school curriculum but I was something of a non-conformer. Fortunately a teacher prompted me to develop my interest in fabrics and I began creating collages out of anything and everything I could find. It was such a vibrant time in fashion which influenced my use of colour in my art. Over the years I've become a multi media artist in textiles, oils, acrylics, watercolours, gouache, pastels, pen and ink, all of which can be found in my most recent pieces.
